The Trustworthy Voice
I am a trained voice over professional operating out of Chelmsford, Massachusetts with a home studio!
My voice is most often described as energetic and bubbly with a real, genuine tone. If your project calls for a friendly, engaging voice, I'm your gal. I have range to voice female characters from late teens to early forties, and my singing experience allows superior breath and tone control when voicing any project so I can achieve that perfect sound. I have an upbeat attitude toward direction and flexibility for a wide range of character voices in multiple registers. I can also do British and Spanish accents.
My special skills include singing from contralto to mezzo-soprano, Spanish proficiency, and knowledge pertaining to a Medical & Psychology background, in which I worked for the years before I began doing voice over full-time. I can also perform many vocal "tricks" such as yawning, belching, hiccuping, etc. on command, and speaking or singing while inhaling (creating a breathy, ethereal voice).
My experience includes documentaries, PSAs, commercials, and audio book content. I am also voicing audiobooks for free distribution at LibriVox under the username KaraBurnett.
